En deux-heures-et-demi de proto-ska, aux inspirations rhythm and blues, jazz, rastafari et gospel, Coxsone's Music, cette sortie de Soul Jazz Records, nous permet de (re-)découvrir le travail du célèbre producteur jamaïcain. On y retrouve ainsi les premiers enregistrements du producteur Clement Dodd, avant qu'il ne crée Studio One Records en 1963.
